About Me

Hi, and welcome to my Web page. I hope this allows you to get to know me a little better before we meet at our next visit.

Biography

I grew up in Maryland, just outside of Washington, DC. I attended Columbia University, where I played for the women's basketball team. Go, Lions! After teaching physical education and chemistry and coaching basketball in New York, I returned to Maryland to attend medical school. I completed my dermatology residency training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where I also served as chief resident. I practiced medical and cosmetic dermatology in New York for 5 years. There I treated a diverse group of patients, built a cosmetic practice, and taught dermatology residents. I am thrilled to bring my experience here to beautiful Los Angeles.

About my practice

I am so thankful to have the privilege of practicing dermatology. Medical and cosmetic dermatology are my passions. The diversity of Los Angeles is a beautiful thing, and I look forward to treating members from every background. I believe mutual kindness and respect are an important part of every encounter we have. Being surrounded by a great team of physicians, nurses, and staff helps me do my job well.

How I thrive

I believe balance in life is important. I try to dedicate time to my family, my friends, members, and myself. I love to eat well. My incredibly talented self-taught chef of a husband makes that easy. I enjoy staying active with my daughters. We love dancing in our family room, shooting hoops on the courts, and frolicking on the beach (with sunblock and protective clothing on, of course).
