Welcome to my Web page! I am glad to have this opportunity to introduce myself, and I hope that this information is helpful to you. I look forward to meeting you and partnering with you to help you stay healthy.
I grew up in Taiwan and moved to Southern California for college. I always knew that I wanted to work in the health care field, so I studied health promotion and disease prevention at USC and completed my master’s degree in public health. I went on to attend medical school at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, and I completed my residency training here at Kaiser Permanente in Orange County.
Prevention and education are the main reasons why I chose to become a family medicine physician. With my background in public health and osteopathic medicine, I try to take a whole-person approach in taking care of members, rather than just treating symptoms. I enjoy building relationships with members, and partnering with them to help them understand how they can improve their health. In order to provide high-quality care, I think that it is important to get to know members and understand the circumstances and the environment around them.
My family is the most important part of my life, and I try to maintain a good work-life balance for them. Spending time with my wife and 2 children always helps me unwind and brings me joy. I enjoy a variety of sports (including badminton, tennis, and swimming), driving, talking about cars, and learning about new technologies.
