About Me

I was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. I have two sons and three grandchildren in the U.S. Mainland. My beautiful wife and stepson live with me here in Hawaii.

About my practice

I chose a career in medicine because I have always been fascinated with how the human body works. While in medical school I discovered that I really enjoyed working with children and connected well with them. Pediatrics was the obvious specialty for me. I love the wonderful people I work with in the Hawaii Permanente Medical Group and appreciate the great collaboration between the physicians and the medical staff. I always try to provide the best care possible for my patients and every day that I am able to interact with kids is a great day.

How I thrive

Working in the clinic and using my medical skills keeps me mentally stimulated. When I am not in the office, I stay fit through ballroom dancing, standup paddle boarding and golfing. I feel blessed to live here and be able to help care for the beautiful children of Hawaii.
