About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am board certified in family medicine. I chose to become a doctor so that I could engage with people from all walks of life.

Biography

My parents came to the United States from Taiwan, and I was born and raised in New Jersey. I did my undergraduate studies at Cornell University in upstate New York and completed medical school at Tufts University in Boston. I then completed my residency at UCLA.

About my practice

I practice in family medicine. Most of my members are adults, but I also welcome opportunities to take care of children. As much as possible, my recommendations will be based on an overview of the most pertinent available information to date. Regardless of a Kaiser Permanente member's age or diagnosis, I always try to emphasize a healthy diet and regular exercise. Dietary choices can either boost or sabotage one's health. Medication can often be part of the treatment plan, but no matter what, a healthy diet and regular exercise, as well as good social support, should be part of the picture.

How I thrive

Making better eating choices more often is a recurring priority, as well as regular exercise. Keeping balance in my life is very important to me. I make it a priority to set aside time to just relax and enjoy my family.
