About Me

Welcome to my Web page. It's a pleasure to have this opportunity to introduce myself and tell you about my practice. I am very fortunate and proud to work at Kaiser Permanente, and I look forward to partnering with you to care for your health.

Biography

After finishing medical school in London, England I moved to the Bay Area where I was a postdoctoral research scholar in uveitis at Stanford University. After two years in the laboratory, I returned to clinical medicine, completing an internal medicine internship at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. I subsequently returned to Stanford University for my ophthalmology training where I was chief resident in my final year. I then moved to Los Angeles where I was a clinical instructor and glaucoma fellow at Doheny Eye Institute/USC Eye Institute at USC.

About my practice

I work in the Ophthalmology Department where I have the privilege of working with my wonderful staff and fellow ophthalmology colleagues to provide high-quality care. I see and manage a wide range of ophthalmic conditions but my practice mostly focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma. I perform various types of glaucoma incisional and laser surgeries as well as cataract surgery. I make a point of explaining to each member their diagnosis and treatment options in an understandable fashion, and work with them to develop a treatment plan they are comfortable with.

How I thrive

I enjoy spending my time with my family and staying active. We enjoy running and bicycling.
