About Me

I grew up in North Carolina and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where I studied biology and Spanish. I received my master's degree to be a Physician Assistant from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia in 2005. After working in the Washington, D.C. area for a few years my husband and I moved to Colorado in 2008 and have enjoyed camping, music festivals, and skiing here with our two sons.

About my practice

I enjoy caring for people of all ages, and have additional experience in women's health and pediatrics. I like to focus on preventive medicine and a person's overall health and stress management. I am a certified yoga instructor and enjoy incorporating elements of my yoga experience into patient care as well, when appropriate. I also speak Spanish and very much enjoy caring for Spanish-speaking patients.

How I thrive

I believe taking time daily for physical exercise and mental relaxation is imperative for good health, but in our society can be very challenging. Making self-care a priority can serve your physical health in many ways. Working with patients to optimize health and well-being as your health care provider is a privilege, and I am grateful for the opportunity to work with patients every day.
