About Me

I am originally from Southern California but have been a "native Oregonian" since 1987. I am enchanted by the workings of the human body and never tire of studying it—hence my decision to become an advanced practice nurse. I love caring for my members' medical needs through the lens—and with the heart—of a nurse.

About my practice

I currently serve as a nurse practitioner in Kaiser Permanente's home care program. When members are no longer able to come to the clinic to see their Family Medicine doctor, my colleagues and I go to them—in private homes, adult foster homes, assisted living facilities, memory care units, or intermediate care facilities. Often my members are approaching the end of life. It is an honor and a pleasure to care for them.

How I thrive

In my free time, I enjoy reading—especially historical fiction. I find it very healing to work in my garden, spend quiet time with family, and watch movies with family and friends.
