About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 1990, and it was the best decision I've made in my career. Kaiser Permanente has provided priceless experience. "Members come first" is my motto.

I was born in Taiwan, and I’m half Chinese and half Japanese. General surgery is the most fulfilling profession and the biggest gratification is when members recover from surgery and get back to their normal lives.

About my practice

As a general surgeon, my days consist of seeing members in the clinic, and performing surgeries in the operating room, as well as administrative work. Not only is it important to communicate with my members, but it’s also essential to providing them with high-quality care.

How I thrive

I believe maintaining an active life style is vital to being happy and healthy, and I’d encourage everyone to get moving today. Personally, I do light exercise for about 15 minutes in the morning, and take the stairs in the hospital daily. A balanced diet is also very important.
