About Me

Hello and welcome to my Web page. Thank you for choosing Kaiser Permanente. As your personal physician, I’m committed to providing you with high-quality, compassionate care, and helping you achieve your personal health goals.

I grew up in Southern California but was able to travel internationally and experience health care in other parts of the world during my medical school years. I came back home for my residency training in internal medicine at Los Angeles County USC Medical Center. After completing of my residency I accepted a faculty position at USC and was intimately involved in the training of medical students and residents as an associate program director. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2011 to focus my time and energy solely on providing direct member care to the best of my ability every—this is really what I enjoy doing.

About my practice

I like to engage with my members by listening first, then I work to motivate them to better health through active prevention, daily maintenance of their health conditions, and education of whatever new treatment guidelines shape our health care practices. I also make an effort to remind my members of the importance of the sometimes overlooked but profoundly important everyday decisions they make—what they choose to eat and how much they exercise, as well as stress reduction and rest.

How I thrive

I get up every morning before everyone else in my household to have some time for myself—to think, pray, prepare for the day, and even exercise. I’m mindful of my diet and pay particular attention to reducing my intake of sugar. I strive to maintain the relationships I’ve been blessed with in my life. I know that I cannot get through this life alone, and I’m grateful every day for those who I'm fortunate enough to call my family and close friends.
