About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am very happy to tell you about my practice and share other information that could be helpful to you. It is my sincere hope that your experience with Kaiser Permanente and its dedicated professionals is as pleasant as mine has been.

Biography

I am the oldest child in my family, with four siblings. Three of them are sisters who are also physicians. The feat of having four women physicians in one family can be attributed to my mother, who was the source of our inspiration. After receiving my medical education in India, I came to the United States to specialize in obstetrics and gynecology. During my residency in New York, I had an opportunity to accompany my husband to Los Angeles on a business trip. I fell in love with the weather and the friendly environment and decided to move to Southern California upon completion of my residency.

About my practice

I am an Ob/Gyn specialist and take pride in what I do. As a mother of two children, I understand what women go through during pregnancy, the uncertainties of motherhood, and the responsibilities of raising a child. I love both the challenge and the responsibility of keeping the mother and the unborn child healthy during pregnancy and birth and taking care of the mother afterward.

How I thrive

Keeping a healthy balance between my professional and personal life is important to me. When I am not working, I keep busy by reading spiritual books, doing regular exercise, and gardening. I also volunteer my services at free medical clinics two or three times a year in the Los Angeles area and once a year in India.
