About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I'm happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice.

Biography

I grew up on a wheat farm in southeastern Washington with my parents, two sisters, and brother. Two of the things I like most about being a physician are helping people with surgical problems and continuing to learn about surgical care, which is continually advancing. I’ve been very happy to be part of Kaiser Permanente for over 30 years, not only because of the great group of surgeons to work with, but also because of our approach to medicine. I especially like the emphasis on taking advantage of the latest medical advances and research.

About my practice

Our team here in Riverside—the surgeons, clinic assistants, anesthesiologists, operating room staff, nurses, and physician assistants—always works together to help you with your surgical needs. We strive to provide high-quality and safe surgical care.

How I thrive

I’m constantly learning by reading and listening to audiobooks. I like traveling to new places every year. This allows me to both relax and learn about different cultures. I keep in shape by walking on the treadmill an average of 30 min per day. I also average 500 sit ups per day and make a habit of walking up to my 5th floor office.
