About Me

Hello! I am pleased to introduce myself and hope that after reading this page you will know more about me, my practice, and how I thrive. I look forward to partnering with you for your healthcare needs.

Biography

I was born in Belgium, but was raised mostly in the Midwest and Northeast. I moved to Virginia for college and stayed to complete my medical training. While I loved Virginia, most of my family had since relocated to Southern California so I longed to join them. After residency, I was fortunate to join Kaiser Permanente Orange County from 2011-2012, but subsequently left to join my husband in Michigan for three years while he completed his own residency training. With the addition of our wonderful daughter and loyal dog we happily made the move back to Southern California. I once again feel very fortunate to be near my loved ones and to be part of this wonderful organization.

About my practice

I practice general obstetrics and gynecology. I love being a "generalist" because it gives me the opportunity to take care of women through every stage of their pregnancies, as well as helping all women with their gynecologic care. I especially value developing relationships with each of my patients in an effort to best address their medical needs.

How I thrive

I understand that balance in life is very important and look for opportunities every day that allow me to thrive. I recharge by spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy many outdoor activities including hiking, sailing, and volleyball.
