About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I'm delighted to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my work as a physician. I am a board-certified family medicine physician with additional board certifications in geriatrics and hospice/palliative care. I have practiced for more than 25 years at the Los Angeles and West Los Angeles medical centers. Following 16 years as a physician administrator, I have returned to clinical practice, delivering high-quality health care at Kaiser Permanente.

Biography

I am a native Californian who grew up as a Kaiser Permanente member in the San Francisco Bay Area. Even when I was a young child, I knew that I wanted to be a physician. I knew that I wanted to be able to make a real difference in people's lives, and practicing medicine gives me that opportunity.

About my practice

As a personal physician, I have a very special opportunity to connect with and help people. My patients often share their concerns with me, so besides offering my medical skills and knowledge, I also offer my listening skills. I translate what they may find confusing and communicate with them and their families the options for their care. I'm truly honored that my patients have entrusted me with their health care and I strive to treat every one of them as I would my family.

How I thrive

I consider my family life as my major priority. I enjoy church activities and the challenge of college-aged children. My wife, children, and I enjoy trips to the Sierra Nevadas and quiet family time at home.
