About Me

I was essentially raised and have lived in Sandy Springs, Ga. for the past 40 years. I went to the University of Georgia for my undergraduate degree and the Medical College of Georgia for medical school. I then returned to Atlanta and completed my training at Georgia Baptist Hospital (Atlanta Medical Center) in 1988. I joined Kaiser Permanente immediately after completing my residency program and was the founding member of the Kaiser Permanente Ob/Gyn program.

It has been a privilege to be a member of the Kaiser Permanente Ob/Gyn team for more than 30 years. I could not imagine myself practicing anywhere else.

I married a native Atlantan, and have two adult children that still keep me quite busy and entertained.

About my practice

My specialty is obstetrics and gynecology. I work with a superb team of highly qualified and caring certified nurse-midwives and physicians. I constantly strive to provide the best care possible, and treat each and every patient as if they were a member of my own family. Happily, I delivered my own sister's baby, a Kaiser Permanente member, in 2002. I fully enjoy the relationships I have built with our members over the years.

How I thrive

I am an outdoor enthusiast, and as my children constantly remind me, I never stop. I enjoy hunting, fishing, hiking, rafting, rock climbing and riding dirt bikes with my family. Mostly, I am a mom and a physician, and I thrive from both of these rewarding and gratifying roles.
