About Me

I am glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and share other information about myself. It's very important that you feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I hope this page will help you start to get to know me.

Biography

I graduated from UC Berkeley with a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and was a practicing research engineer for seven years. I got my master's in physiology and biophysics at Georgetown University. I subsequently went to medical school and did my residency at UC San Diego.

About my practice

Medicine as a career is a very special opportunity to connect and help people in a meaningful way, utilizing medical skills and knowledge, but also listening and responding to what patients need. Communication with my patients and their families is an important part of my practice. I feel honored that patients have entrusted me with their care and strive to treat them as I would my own family.

How I thrive

I support Kaiser Permanente's emphasis on a healthy lifestyle. I enjoy traveling, exercising, and spending time with my family.
