About Me

Welcome to my Web page.

Biography

I was born in New York, and my family moved to a suburb of Los Angeles when I was nine years old. I enjoy being a physician because I have an opportunity to get to know so many nice people. In addition to seeing members of many ages, I also serve as one of the assistant program directors of Kaiser Permanente San Diego’s family medicine residency program, and oversee the residency Family Medicine Center at the Clairemont Mesa Medical Office. I am involved with the San Diego Academy of Family Physicians and serve as an assistant clinical professor of family medicine at UC San Diego.

About my practice

My office is always open to children under age 10 and prenatal patients. I have been a Kaiser Permanente physician since 1996. I enjoy being with Kaiser Permanente because I work with an excellent health care team. I am proud to provide our members great quality health care and service. Medicine as a career is a very special opportunity to connect with and help people and their families in a meaningful way. I utilize my medical skills and training when I’m providing care, but I also use my listening skills so I can respond to what my patients need. I feel very honored that members have entrusted me with their care and I strive to treat them as I would my own family.

How I thrive

Keeping balance in my life is very important to me. I love to spend time with my two children. I love to travel because I like to explore new places and learn about different cultures. I am an avid skier. One tradition in my family is to run the 5K run in Balboa Park on Thanksgiving morning to raise money for Father Joe’s Villages.
