About Me

Hello, and welcome to my Web page.

I grew up in Minnesota and moved to California a few years ago. I fell in love with Southern California and decided to make it my home. I love being a doctor because I get to connect on a personal level with people every day and help them in their time of need. Helping someone through a difficult problem, either surgical or nonsurgical, helps build a wonderful lifelong relationship, and I find that very rewarding.

About my practice

I work in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Baldwin Park Medical Center. I enjoy all fields of orthopedics and enjoy seeing all kinds of people, young to old, with a variety of different orthopedic issues. I have specialty training in hip and knee replacement as well as biologic replacement and joint preservation. I especially enjoy caring for people with hip and knee arthritis and those with cartilage injuries.

How I thrive

I love to stay physically fit. In addition to eating well, I enjoy running, biking, swimming in ocean, tennis, soccer, and football. It’s important to stay mentally and emotionally fit as well. Thus, I also enjoy reading and spending lots of time with my family and friends.
