About Me

Hello, and welcome to my Web page. My name is William Gow. I’m proud to say I’ve been with Kaiser Permanente at the Los Angeles Medical Center since 1988.

Biography

I’m originally a Midwesterner who grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado and attended medical school at Loyola University in Chicago. In 1977, I moved to Los Angeles and did my internship and residency at Harbor–UCLA Medical Center in Torrance.

About my practice

In 1982, I came to work at the Los Angeles Medical Center. As the years went on, I subspecialized in knee surgery—for the past 20 years or so, most of the surgical procedures I’ve performed involve either arthroscopic surgery or knee replacement.

How I thrive

I take care of myself by striking a nice balance between work and play. I’m also a single-digit handicap golfer and often enjoy playing golf on weekends.
