About Me

I'm glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and share other information about myself. It's very important that you feel comfortable with your physician, and I hope this page will help you start to get to know me.

Biography

I was raised in a small town (Swarthmore) outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and am a recent transplant to the Los Angeles area. After receiving my medical training at top academic institutions in the country, I chose to come to Kaiser Permanente to be part of a dynamic health care organization that is constantly striving to provide the best care for its members. I have the opportunity to work with a group of outstanding and dedicated physicians who truly go above and beyond to provide competent and compassionate care for our members.

About my practice

Medicine as a career is a very special opportunity to connect with and help people in a meaningful way, through using medical skills and knowledge and also listening and responding to what members need. Being a doctor allows people to share with me their innermost secrets, fears, and hopes; it is a privilege to help them understand their concerns, translate what they may not grasp, facilitate getting them the appropriate evaluations, and communicate with them and their families. I feel very honored that members have entrusted me with their care, and I strive to treat them as I would my own family.I have a special clinical interest in epilepsy disorders and completed additional fellowship training in this area. I also continue to maintain an interest in seeing members with a wide variety of general neurologic diseases.

How I thrive

I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente's philosophy of total health, and try to live it in my life every day. My family life is my major priority. We enjoy family outings to the beautiful beaches around LA. Additionally, I enjoy reading, traveling, yoga, Barre, and meditation.
