Hello, and welcome to my Web page. This page will give you the opportunity to get to know me a little better on a more personal level. First of all, I would like to say that I feel very fortunate to be working at Kaiser Permanente because I get to work with wonderful colleagues and amazing members every single day.
I grew up in Southern California and of course I could never leave. Between the sun, sand, and mountains I find my favorite hobbies of surfing, hiking, and running along the beach. I completed my internal medicine training in Irvine and this is where I learned the challenges of taking care of very sick people. The early years of my residency helped to form me into the physician that I am today.
As a hospitalist, I spend all of my time in the hospital taking care of members who have been admitted, but this does not mean that I don't think about preventive medicine. Preventive medicine is one of my passions and you will often see me counseling people on the best ways for them to maintain good health.
I love Kaiser Permanente's focus on healthy living and for me this means finding balance in my life. I work hard to ensure high-quality care for my patients so that they can maintain good health, and I do the same for myself. I exercise regularly and I enjoy spending time with my wonderful family and friends. I have many hobbies and I actively pursue them.
