About Me

Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I am happy to introduce myself to you and share a little about my work at Kaiser Permanente.

Biography

I came from a large family, the second of five children. I grew up in Washington, Oregon, and Alaska. For my undergraduate training, I went to North Park University in Chicago, Illinois . After college, I spent a year volunteering with AmeriCorps in an immunization program for young children. I decided to become a pediatrician because I love working with children. My training brought me to Southern California, and the sunshine, mountains, and ocean have kept me here.

About my practice

In pediatrics, I work with children from birth through the adolescent years. Each age group is completely unique, and I hope to help families through each developmental phase. I encourage healthy life choices starting at a young age. By promoting healthy choices, I hope to partner with parents in keeping their children well.

How I thrive

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my son and husband. I also love the outdoors. Hiking, backpacking, and traveling are all ways I stay healthy and balanced.
