About Me

Welcome to my Web page! I am happy to have this opportunity to share a bit about myself. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2012 and am fortunate to be surrounded by such excellent physicians, nurses, and support staff. I look forward to the opportunity to participate in your care.

Biography

I grew up in a military family and moved around a bit. My family ultimately settled in California. While in college at UCLA, I met my wife. We moved away for 10 years for my medical training, but we always wanted to come back to Los Angeles. I attended medical school at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. I then completed a diagnostic radiology residency and a fellowship in MRI at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology in St. Louis, Missouri.

About my practice

I work with a large group of radiologists. I interpret a wide array of imaging results and perform some minor image-guided procedures. My primary area of interest and expertise is in the optimization and interpretation of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans. I am also actively involved in the radiology residency program at Kaiser Permanente’s Los Angeles Medical Center, and I enjoy teaching and working with the students and residents.

How I thrive

I like getting outside in the beautiful Southern California weather and playing golf or basketball. My wife and I enjoy eating healthily, and we frequent local farmers markets for fresh produce. I keep grounded by spending time with my wife and children.
