About Me

I was born and raised in southwest Washington. Except for a short stint in Oregon and Texas, I have resided there most of my life. I find there is no place like the Pacific Northwest and plan to retire here as well. My family lives close, so it is easy to spend time with them. I started as a registered nurse in 1975 and worked in hospitals and clinics. Eventually I decided to expand my education and earned a Master of Nursing from Washington State University in 1999. I haved stayed with Kaiser Permanente and enjoy my practice at Cascade Park Medical Office.

About my practice

I work with the excellent family practice providers at the Cascade Park clinic. I also spend time working urgent care. The team works well together and our goal is always to give you best patient care possible. I personally like when patients come with goals and issues listed so we can focus on your needs. I have been with Kaiser Permanente since 1979. I strive to provide that the best quality and personal service to my patients.

How I thrive

Outside of work, I enjoy being in the outdoors. Snow skiing is my greatest joy and I go as often as time allows. Over the last five years I have added cross country skiing as well. I began running late in life, but found with time I could complete half marathons and the Hood to Coast Relay. I also enjoy hiking with my husband and biking both on and off road. Along with physical outdoor activities, I giving back to the community keeps be grounded. I have volunteered with the Free Clinic of PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center since 2000. I find this work rewarding and I enjoy learing so much from the patients.
