I’m glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and share other information about myself. It’s very important that you feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I hope this page will help you start to get to know me.
I grew up in Southern California. My family came to the United States four years before I was born. I knew the second I dissected a cow’s heart in my seventh grade biology class that I wanted to become a physician. I can’t imagine doing anything else.
Being an ob-gyn is a very special opportunity to connect to and help women in an important way, while allowing them to share with me their concerns and hopes. It is a privilege to help my patients understand how to maintain their health and, if they need care, explain their medical issues and options for treatment. I’m honored that my patients entrust me with their care, and I strive to provide them with the same high-quality care and attention that I would give to my own family.
I firmly believe in the Kaiser Permanente philosophy of health in body, mind, and spirit and try to live it in my life every day. My family life is my major priority. I enjoy family outings, reading and running marathons. My husband, four children, and I enjoy summer trips to Bruin Woods, other family vacations, and quiet family time at home.
