About Me

Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I am a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine with a focus on shoulder, knee and elbow injuries. My practice philosophy focuses on evidence-based orthopedic care, non-surgical treatments when possible, and minimally invasive surgical techniques when surgery is required.

Biography

I am a Southern California native—I attended Troy High School in Fullerton, CA, and then earned a B.S. in biological sciences from UC Irvine. After receiving my medical degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, I remained there for my orthopedic surgery residency before coming to Kaiser Permanente in San Diego to complete a sports medicine fellowship.

About my practice

I believe at the core of every successful medical treatment is a partnership between the patient and the medical team. I look forward to working with you to improve your health.

How I thrive

I thrive by remaining active in the outdoors. I like to ride my mountain bike, go trail running, skiing, swimming, and hiking.
