Acerca de mí
My career as an urologist has been both challenging and rewarding, and I consider it a privilege to be a physician. I have been in practice since 1996 and love the idea of being able to help others.I am a native of Thomasville, Ga. My career path was greatly influenced by my uncle, who was a pathologist in Atlanta for 35 years. In school, I loved math and science, but always enjoyed being around people. Medicine has been the perfect match for me.I am proud to have served in the military as a physician, and my medical education was funded by the U. S. Air Force.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
I enjoy an excellent practice association with two other urologists, a nurse practitioner and a team of nurses. We have a team approach, with the goal of delivering efficient, quality care to our members. My own practice style is best described as scientific and objective. I am most interested in medical practices that have been proven to benefit patients. I am less interested in alternative medicine, and I am more inclined to recommend therapies that have undergone rigorous scientific review. I enjoy all aspects of urology, including oncology, stones, incontinence, infertility and prostate diseases. In addition to my clinical role as an urologist, I serve on the peer review committee.
Cómo vivo bien
I like trying to be physically fit. Exercise sharpens the mind, relieves stress and makes me better at my job. I go to the gym about four times per week, and I enjoy a combination of "cardio" (cycling or walking) and weightlifting.I also love to play golf. All the men in my family play golf (father, brother, uncles, cousins, etc.). I also go on golf trips with my friends at Kaiser Permanente.
