I am an ophthalmologist with subspecialty training in glaucoma. I chose to specialize in glaucoma because I have a strong family history of it on both sides of my family. My maternal grandmother has eight siblings, and four of them have been diagnosed with glaucoma. In addition, both my maternal great-grandmother and paternal grandmother became blind from the disease prior to their passing. Without a doubt, I have an unwavering commitment to preserving vision so that our members will continue to maintain a high quality of life.
