Born in Chattanooga, Tenn., my pediatrician played an influential role in my decision to become a physician. I was five years old at the time that I made the decision to become a doctor and have never wavered from my aspiration.Entering medical school was a life changing experience, and I was drawn to family medicine as the focus of my specialty. Later, I included geriatrics as an additional specialty realizing the needs of the growing senior citizen population.I have two adult children who remain in the area and enjoy my time with my wife, who is a registered nurse, and with our extended family.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
Kaiser Permanente is a perfect fit for my style of practice. I advocate the patient as an active participant in their wellness as well as their chronic or acute medical issues. Teamwork is a vital part of my practice, of which the patient is the central core surrounded by the supporting Kaiser Permanente staff and my colleagues.
Cómo vivo bien
Living in an urban setting, I enjoy the many pleasures of the city from crowded gallery showings to serene daily walks in the park that our dog encourages me to partake. I have even been known to participate in a keen game of bocce ball or a bike ride on the weekend. In addition, I am an avid reader of the latest technological advances and greatly enjoy listening to international radio program broadcasts.
