I was born in Eugene, Ore. Although I love the Pacific Northwest, after high school, I was ready to explore other areas. I went to college in Pennsylvania and have been fortunate since then to get to live in many parts of the U.S. and around the world. Following college, I joined the Peace Corps. I spent two years in Africa, first in Gabon and then Togo. Next, I spent four years in New York City attending Cornell Medical College and then moved to Atlanta for my internal medicine and geriatrics training at Emory University. In Atlanta, I appreciate the wonderfully diverse population and enjoy providing primary care for adults of all ages.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
I am a primary care provider with internal medicine and geriatrics training. I love working with and caring for people of all ages. I also appreciate that, in my job, I get to see people of all backgrounds and stages of life. I completed additional training in geriatrics in order to be better equipped to care for older adults who may have multiple chronic diseases and more complex social situations. I chose to work for Kaiser Permanente because I feel that through a focus on primary care, prevention and wellness, we are able to provide the best quality health care.

The kitchen is definitely the focal point of our house! I love to cook, and I find that sharing dinner with my friends and family is one of my favorite things. Travel is also a passion of mine. Being active in the yard or walking our dog, Ella, (and sometimes even making it to the gym!) also helps keep me energized and happy.
