Acerca de mí
I am an Atlanta native, born and bred. However, when I went to college, I decided to go as far away as possible. I found myself at Dartmouth College, a small liberal arts school in New Hampshire. After spending several years in the Northeast, I was ready to leave the crisp New England winters behind me and head home. Luckily, I was able to take a part of the North back with me, in the form of my husband. We are now thrilled to be raising our two daughters here in Atlanta.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
I became a member of the Kaiser Permanente Radiology Department in 2013. I feel fortunate to be able to work with such a compassionate and dedicated group of people. One of our major goals is to create the highest quality images possible, while exposing patients to the least amount of radiation. As the radiation safety officer, a member of the radiation safety committee and a fellowship-trained pediatric and nuclear medicine radiologist, I hope to use my unique skill set to keep our practice on the forefront of providing the highest quality care in the safest manner possible.
Cómo vivo bien
As a child, I used to collect animal bones in my backyard and dreamed of one day moving to the Badlands to dig up dinosaur fossils. Later, my love for science was redirected towards medicine. Having a job doing something I have always loved is extremely fulfilling to me. I also know how important balance is. Although I love working, my greatest joy is my family. A perfect day for me would be spending time with my husband and my girls somewhere outside, like the Atlanta Botanical Garden. I also love to exercise. Each day begins with a run. I like having the streets to myself in the early morning with time for my thoughts. It gives me a boost of energy for the rest of the day.
