Kaiser Permanente medical center practitioner
Idioma que hablo:
Sí, acepto pacientes nuevos.
I was born and raised in Philadelphia, but spent one year after high school living and studying in Israel. After finishing my residency training, I traveled the country serving as a Locum Tenens provider (a "temp doc"), which landed me in the Atlanta metro area. I moved here for the warmer weather, the mountains and streams, and of course, the people. I have been an active participant in an outdoors club for many years as I enjoy hiking, rock climbing, kayaking and biking. I have also competed in triathlons. My goal was to compete in an Iron Man competition, but training has been on hold since the birth of my daughter, who is my pride and joy.
My approach to medicine is based in both education and prevention. Many day-to-day ailments can be prevented or reduced through good nutrition and exercise, and I hope to serve a role model for this. Further, I strive to educate our members so that they understand their medical conditions and their management options.
Most mornings I spend about 15 minutes doing range of motion exercises and basic calisthenics. I workout about four days each week by running, swimming or using fitness machines. On most weekends, my family and I go on bike rides, hikes or hang out at the neighborhood pool. My wife and I enjoy music and checking out various ethnic restaurants. We also try to have a "date night" at least once a month!
