Sí, acepto pacientes nuevos. Es posible que sea necesaria una remisión.
I was born in Columbus, Ga. My parents informed me that I was in such a hurry to get into this world that I was partially out of my mother's womb during the car ride on the way to the hospital! Fortunately for the both of us, the medical personnel at the hospital were able to complete my delivery safely in a more controlled setting. I am the first of five siblings and have had an interest in medicine from an early age. I recall watching soap operas with my mother and admiring the professionals portrayed on television. My interest in medicine did not wane as I got older, and I completed my medical education and training in 1990. I am a first generation physician. I have been married to my wife for the over 30 years. We have two children.
I was trained as a family physician. I have an avid interest in managing the total health of our members. I believe in getting to know each member and having the member become comfortable and confident with me as their primary care provider. I believe in treating people with respect and empathy. I have extensive experience in managing hypertension, diabetes mellitus, cholesterol problems and acute musculoskeletal injuries, in addition to many office appropriate medical problems. I have also served as team lead for my peers and am currently working in the Acute Care Center.
I thrive by investing quality time with my family. We enjoy the theatre, dining out and travel as a family. I exercise regularly and practice healthy eating habits. I also enjoy reading novels, with the mystery and science fiction genres being my favorites. I attempt to employ a daily practice of not allowing the small things in life to increase my level of stress or distract me from optimal daily performance. Two of my favorite sayings are as follows: "In all you do, do with all your might, cause things half done ain't never done right," and "When dealing with others it is best to say it straight or you may end up showing it crooked."
