Kaiser Permanente medical center practitioner
Idioma que hablo:
Sí, acepto pacientes nuevos.
I grew up in a small town in South India near Chennai (Madras), and at an early age, I made the decision to pursue a career in medicine. Both my parents, who are also dedicated physicians, served as great role models and influenced me to become a doctor. I graduated from Kurnool Medical School, a highly competitive medical school in India. I immigrated to the U.S. in 2001 and have spent many of the years since living in the Northeast, specifically Philadelphia, Washington, D.C. and Baltimore. My husband and I decided that we wanted to raise our two daughters in a place with great schools, great weather and where children are respectful to elders. My husband, who grew up in Cincinnati, wanted our girls to be raised in a similar environment, but he also wanted great weather! We are happy we chose Atlanta as our home.
I work in Kaiser Permanente's Ambulatory Medicine Department. I enjoy offering our members Kaiser Permanente's integrated and comprehensive health care, as I believe this leads to the best patient care possible and enhances their well-being. I have been a Kaiser Permanente physician since 2008. I started with the Mid-Atlantic Region, which is the Kaiser Permanente practice in Baltimore and D.C. When we relocated to Atlanta, I joined Kaiser Permanente's Georgia Region. As mentioned earlier, I thrive in this organization as I share the same philosophies of putting patient care at the center of my focus and providing proactive, preventive care.
Outside the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking and volunteering at a local temple. I also thrive by supporting underserved communities. I provide educational support to underprivileged children, as I believe that education is a good foundation for success. As a recent transplant to the Atlanta area, I can unequivocally state that we love living here. I am enjoying the great weather and friendly faces I come across on a daily basis!
