Acerca de mí
I am an "Army Brat" and moved around the United States and Europe frequently throughout my childhood. I continue to have a keen fondness for traveling and endeavor to do so as much as possible with my husband, who is an Atlanta native. In Atlanta, I enjoy live music, trying new restaurants with friends, indoor cycling, and taking our Golden Retriever to the dog park. I obtained my bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Florida, worked seven years in inpatient cardiothoracic surgery, and became a nurse practitioner by obtaining my master's degree from Georgetown University. I now share the unique privilege of joining Kaiser Permanente's Cardiology Department. I have a passion for people, their stories, and providing care to the entire person. I have found both professional medicine and cardiology deeply rewarding and enjoy any opportunity to continue learning. I am credentialed by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
Acerca de mi práctica médica
I am an associate provider in the Kaiser Permanente Cardiology Department. From support staff to physicians, we diligently work together to provide optimal care and a comfortable experience for our members who may need the services of a specialist for any kind of heart issue. The group collaborates and communicates constantly to ensure care is delivered in an effective way with the best treatment modalities.
Cómo vivo bien
My physical and mental health require that I stay both physically and socially active throughout my week. I like to do this by cycling, taking exercise classes, and playing outside with my dog. I also enjoy weekly date nights with my husband, catching up with family, and girls' nights with friends. I find mental clarity through physical exercise and outdoor exploration, and I feel fulfilled when I spend quality time with the important people in my life.
