Kaiser Permanente provider
Idioma que hablo:
Sí, en mi consultorio se aceptan pacientes nuevos. Es posible que sea necesaria una remisión.
I grew up outside of Washington, D.C., and I've lived in Colorado and raised two children over the past 22 years. I love being a physician and trying to help patients with advanced, minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. Often these procedures help patients avoid traditional surgery. I try to treat all patients just the way that I would want to be treated and I often think to myself, "What would I do for my family member?”, while making difficult decisions with a patient and their family.
I love serving a diverse population of patients from young men to middle aged women to the elderly. I chose interventional radiology because I felt that I would always be in a discipline where I would continue to learn. I hold myself to a high standard of trying to perform at my highest level on every procedure. My particular areas of expertise are all general interventional radiology procedures with an emphasis on vertebroplasty to treat painful compression fractures of the spine and uterine artery embolization to treat symptomatic uterine fibroids. Colorado Permanente Medical Group has seven full-time interventional radiologists who work side by side and communicate about the procedures we perform. Our group provides a full range of clinical consultative services, from approving and performing image-guided biopsies to performing complex embolizations and cutting-edge, minimally invasive tumor therapy.
I thrive by trying to be kind to all people with whom I interact. I strive to promote inquiry over advocacy when I'm posed with a complicated problem. Lately, before bedtime, I've been identifying and reflecting on three good things that happened during my day and what role I played in those good things. My main hobbies are hiking with my wife and children as well as playing golf with family and friends. Golf helps me appreciate being in the moment and being present, which I think is a good quality to have as I'm listening to patients.
