Sí, en mi consultorio se aceptan pacientes nuevos. Es posible que sea necesaria una remisión.
I grew up in Tampa, Florida, and attended Brown University in Rhode Island. There, I majored in biology and economics and competed on the varsity swim team, even qualifying for the U.S. Open. I attended Duke University in North Carolina for medical school. I became interested in orthopedic surgery because of the drastic benefit fixing a broken bone or replacing an arthritic joint can have on a patient's mobility and quality of life. I completed my surgical internship and residency at the University of Washington in Seattle. After that, I completed a surgical fellowship at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, where I gained additional experience taking care of complex problems in hip and knee replacement. My wife is from Denver and also practices medicine. We are excited to come home and join the Colorado community!
My clinical interests include hip and knee replacement including partial knee replacements, as well as complex problems requiring revision hip and knee surgery. I also take care of fractures and other traumatic musculoskeletal injuries to help get patients back to doing what they love. I look forward to seeing my patients and enjoy learning about you. A decision to have joint replacement surgery is one we make together. My goal is for you to have all the information you need to know whether surgery is right for you. I listen and seek to understand your questions and concerns, so we can coordinate the most appropriate care for your needs. In addition to taking care of patients, I am interested in research to advance the field of orthopedics and have authored more than 15 peer-reviewed journal articles to date.
I love practicing medicine in Colorado most of all because of the patients. A successful outcome from surgery hinges on a commitment to rehabilitation and wellness by both the medial staff and the patient, and I feel that Coloradans are uniquely up to this challenge! My favorite part of my job is helping to get patients back to doing what they love in our great state.
