About me

I am a straight-forward but kind person, someone who people come to with questions that they want an honest answer to. I am a lover of Legos, DC Comics, music, VW vans/bugs and the 80s. My daughter refers to me as a ‘big kid’ to her friends and I refer to myself as an ‘adult child’ to others. But don’t be mistaken, although I utilize humor and try to have a little fun in therapy sessions; I take my job very seriously. I want everyone who walks through my office to feel important, supported and safe.

About my practice

Populations: Adults, Seniors, Children, Teens, Families, Transgender, LGBTQ+, Group. Specialties: Grief and Loss, Mood Disorders, Parenting, Personality Disorders, Schizophrenia, ADHD, Anxiety, Bipolar, Depression, Trauma, and PTSD. Interventions: I consider myself to provide therapy through a person-centered modality, but also utilize motivational interviewing, behavioral, directive and some DBT/CBT. Because I focus less on the diagnosis and more on the person as a whole; sincerely enjoy working with all individuals regardless of diagnosis or age. I love people and I love hearing their individual stories. It is my belief that everyone that walks through my door needs extra support in one way or another, or they wouldn’t have summoned up the courage to come in. Therefore, I spend the time that is needed in order to get to know every facet of that person, in order to best provide that support.

How I thrive

I thrive by helping others. I enjoy making others smile, laugh, cry, and make connections. I thrive when spending time with my daughter, my partner, our 2 dogs and my family. I thrive by continuously working on positivity and helping others to be positive—everyone is a work in progress in this area, including myself!

Affiliated/contracted physicians/providers are not part of the Colorado Permanente Medical Group (CPMG). They are physicians/providers who have a contract with the CPMG.

If your CPMG physician decides that you require covered services not available internally from CPMG, he or she will refer you to an affiliated/contracted physician/provider.

You must have a written referral to the affiliated/contracted physician/provider in order for Kaiser Permanente Colorado to cover the services. A referral is a written authorization from Kaiser Permanente for you to receive a covered service from an affiliated/contracted physician/provider.
